Know exactly who is writing what, why, and who for ...
'Everyone' wants to write a book. But many people forget this crucial step.
I’m not unlike the next person. Many a time I have sat down to write a book, and simply launched into it. Yes, I too I have feverishly mapped out the chapters and jotted down concepts, and collected my research and put it all in one place. In a frenetic burst of inspiration.
And then I lose steam. It becomes overwhelming and I don’t know how to keep momentum.
Sure, ‘the book’ was my goal. But that’s such a far away concept, such a polished and future thing. It’s easy to overlook what it takes to get from here to there.
Have you ever found yourself in this situation? How many book ideas do you have on your hard drive, or in notebooks stashed all over your house?
Are you ready to get serious about approaching your book, let alone writing it?

Hello, I'm JANE
Nonfiction Blueprint - your North Star
The Nonfiction Blueprint is the document I was missing. A Nonfiction Blueprint could be your lighthouse – your North Star – as you navigate the deceptively calm seas and the dark stormy nights of your book writing process.
A book without a blueprint is like being lost at sea in a dingy without oars. Yes, it’s possible you find your way to shore, but gosh, it will take a long time and a lot of luck to get there. Being in a rubber dingy is pretty scary in an open sea. But with oars, you’ll have a much better chance to steer and guide yourself closer to land. With a robust blueprint, you could transform your dingy into an ocean liner…
It contains:
– 13 section-blueprint that you fill in and reflect on (with guidance and encouraging coaching) to be the compass, or beacon, for you as you write your book.
– 3 x 60 minute coaching sessions (delivered via Zoom)
– 3 x rounds of assignments/deadlines to work through the material
– Access to support videos for deeper exploration into the 13 sections
– Customised advice around publishing and writing craft from me, longtime copywriter, editor, author and coach.
Yours for USD$1500
Your Nonfiction Blueprint contains your reason for writing this book. It declares why you of all people should write the book. It contains the detail on who it’s for and what they are looking for and where to find them. A blueprint is the first whispers of your marketing plan, and it creates a scaffolding for how your reader might navigate parts of your book.
Your blueprint is a living, breathing document – but don’t get too married to every detail in it. It’s not set in stone (bad news for a dingy, right?). It will change as the book progresses (and as you develop as a person and as a writer). Remember, inside, at its core, it will contain the record of why you wanted to start on the project in the first place. And this seed is important to return to, time and time again.
Without a blueprint, you might get lost, washed overboard or even decide to abandon ship.
Nooooo!
These people worked through their blueprint with me …

“With Jane, I worked on my style, on the clarity of communication of the book, and also on putting together a detailed plan for the big picture. Jane helped me develop both the book’s big picture and the detailed flow and delivery of a chapter, a section, or a paragraph. She helped me build my confidence as a writer and to establish writing routines that work for my style and my schedule.”

“She’s technically brilliant. She elevates your language in a smooth and subtle way. She sees the overall project and helps you understand how to put it together. And ultimately she has this gift of never letting you lose sight of your motivation – something which, on the writer’s journey, is very important. Not working with Jane is your loss!”

“Jane was instrumental in turning a daunting book project into something far more polished, cohesive, and impactful than I could have imagined. I came to her with an ambitious vision. The complexity was enormous, from ensuring the books interlocked but stood alone, to aligning them with my existing brand and visual storytelling goals. Jane didn’t just help; she elevated the entire project. Her insights during the early planning stages reshaped the series structure for the better, leading to a clearer flow and stronger connections between the books. ”

GUARANTEE
Can I get a refund?
When it comes to writing a book, and booking time with me, your coach, I can guarantee I will be present with you in every moment I am with you.
My longing is to work with people who are ready to write their book.
It may turn out, after penning your Nonfiction Blueprint, that you are not ready to write a book after all. And that’s fine. But you won’t know whether you are ready, or not, if you don’t take action on the planning and dreaming process – correct?
This is why I don’t offer a full 60-day money back guarantee. Gah!
I do offer the chance to stop the coaching process, and to refund the money that equates to the time that we haven‘t yet worked together.
Because I deliver such a personalised service, and because a book is such a unique product, I cannot refund the money – and time – already spent on working together.
I do this because I take you, your time, money and your idea completely seriously. If I wanted a shortcut way to see if we are a fit, of course I’d offer a money back guarantee. And I do for some of my other products. But not for this one.
Work with me – or don’t work with me. And for the time we are together, we will have a clear working relationship that respects the investment of the other, and of course, I hope you will complete your blueprint with me (and maybe your proposal, and book and the whole entire book …)!
